Ashland, WI. - Lake Superior
We left Michigan and our next stop was in Ashland Wisconsin, we come Rt 2 and it was just gorgeous. We bunked at a municipal city park on Lake Superior. This is a massive Iron ore concrete dock, it was built for Minneapolis and Sault Ste. Marie Railroad in 1916.
I was sleep! In bed! The Lord opened my eyes! This is what I saw out of my window. What a great site to awaken. Just breath taking. For the first time I though: This is the life. I can't even explain. Doug had to bring me the camera.
This was the beautiful sunset the evening we arrived. This is a place I could have stayed for more than one night. We were on our way to MN. though.
Doug was misbehaving, so this was his living quarters. LOL. Just kidding. This little camper is the cutest. Never seen one this small. The couples with their two dogs were kind enough to let us take a picture.
